If the door still runs properly, a dent is cosmetic and the call is yours. If the section is bent enough to bind in the track, it needs doing. Where the model is still made, one replacement panel costs a fraction of a new door.

A harder hit bends track and hinges as well as the skin.
Fix: Look at the whole door. A panel on its own won't fix a twisted opening.
Steel skin rusting where the bottom seal holds damp against it. More common near the water.
